Fantastic Food, Creative Cocktails & Outstanding Service We had a wonderful dinner at Lolita in Poughkeepsie. From the moment we arrived, Tori welcomed us and asked if it was our first time visiting. Once we told her it was, she took the time to explain some of the restaurant’s specialties and what made certain dishes unique. That was such a nice touch and immediately made us feel welcome. Our server Mike was also excellent. He was patient, attentive, and continued checking on us throughout the meal while taking the time to explain the food and answer our questions. The customer service really stood out and made the whole experience feel personal. To start, we had the Kale Caesar Salad, which was a great recommendation. The pistachios, cheese, and kale made for a really nice combination with plenty of crunch and flavor. It was a good size to share between two people. For pizza, we ordered the sausage and peppers personal pizza. The crust was nice and crispy while still soft inside, and the combination of sausage and peppers was delicious. Excellent Pizza prepared by CIA graduates!! Fantastic balance in flavors. The mushroom pizza is excellent. The crust was perfectly charred in their oven- awesome mushroom and truffle oil combination. The wings are cooked well and not greasy. Delicious home made ranch dressing. I would definitely come again to get at NY pizza experience in this local gem. After a delicious meal, head over to the walkway over the Hudson! Amazing view for a post dinner walk just above the restaurant.

Spent a Sunday driving through Poughkeepsie and ended the day at Lolita’s Pizza — definitely the right choice. The pizza was excellent with a perfect crust, the cocktails were surprisingly great, and both the pasta and daily specials were worth ordering. Honestly, I’m hard to impress when it comes to service, atmosphere, and food—but this place truly delivered on all three. From the moment I walked in, the service was outstanding. Anderson took care of me and was amazing from beginning to end. The restaurant itself is small, cute, and very clean, which I loved. The food was so good. I ordered the mac and cheese with chicken, and let me tell you—this is not your typical mac! So flavorful and comforting. I also had the kale Caesar salad, which was fresh and delicious. I can’t wait to come back and try their pizza next time!

Absolutely loved Lolita’s Pizza. The service was great—super friendly and helpful, and their recommendations were spot on. That’s how we ended up ordering the Sweet & Spicy Ricotta Pizza, and it was unreal. Perfectly balanced heat, creamy ricotta, and a crust that’s crispy yet soft in all the right places. Every bite hits. You can tell they really care about quality and flavor. Definitely coming back to try more, but this pizza alone is worth the visit.
